Ladies Brunch Society - Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
The Ladies Brunch Society hosts social events across the United States. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you interact with us, purchase tickets, register for events, subscribe to communications, visit our website, or attend one of our gatherings.
We collect personal information that you provide when you purchase a ticket or register for an event. Registration forms typically capture your name, email address, organisation or job title, and contact information, together with any dietary or accessibility requirements and other details specific to the event. If a conference requires payment, we collect payment and invoicing details, but the full card number is processed securely by a third‑party payment provider and is not stored by us. We may also collect information from photographs or video recordings taken at events for promotional or archival purposes.
When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the website. Where we ask for special category data, such as dietary or accessibility requirements, we will only collect that information when necessary and with your explicit consent.
We use the personal data you provide to register you for events, process your payments, create attendee badges, manage seating and other logistics, and facilitate any dietary or accessibility accommodations. We use your contact details to send event confirmations, updates, and other administrative messages. We may also send newsletters and promotional emails about upcoming gatherings; you can unsubscribe at any time, but you will continue to receive transactional messages related to your registrations. Information about website usage is used to operate and maintain the site, improve its performance, and protect its security.
Third-party providers process payments for tickets or merchandise. Donation and payment forms transmit your payment information directly to the provider, and the provider handles it in accordance with its own privacy and security practices. We do not store full payment card details on our servers. We retain transaction records only as needed for accounting and legal purposes.
Public areas at our events may be photographed or recorded. We may use images or video from our gatherings in marketing or promotional materials. If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please notify us before or during the event, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request. When we collect special category data, such as dietary or accessibility information, we seek your explicit consent and handle that information with extra care.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data with service providers who help us operate our business, such as event management platforms, payment processors, email service providers, venue operators, caterers, and professional advisers. These providers are permitted to process personal data only to perform their services and must protect it. For events held at third‑party venues or with external partners, we may share dietary or accessibility requirements so that they can meet your needs. We may disclose information if required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of participants.
When you join our mailing list or register for an event, we may send newsletters, invitations and promotional emails about upcoming activities. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link provided in those messages. Even after you opt out of promotional messages, you will continue to receive transactional communications about your registrations or purchases. We honour opt‑out requests and do not send marketing emails to individuals who have unsubscribed.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Virginia, and other jurisdictions may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, to obtain a copy of their data, and to opt out of certain processing, such as targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of personal information. We will verify your identity before fulfilling such requests and may decline a request where the law allows us to retain information, for example, to complete a transaction or comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information for money, but you can still submit an opt‑out request if applicable laws define certain data transfers as a “sale” or “sharing.”
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age, and users under 18 should use our services only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures to safeguard personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide services, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations. When information is no longer required, we will securely delete or de‑identify it.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or to comply with laws. We will post the revised policy on our website with an updated effective date. Continued interaction with us after the updated policy is posted constitutes acceptance of the changes. Other event organisations note that material changes to a privacy policy take effect upon notice and that continued use after notification signifies acceptance. If a change materially alters how we use information collected under a prior version of the policy, we will provide prominent notice by email or another appropriate channel and obtain your consent where required by law.
If you have questions about this policy or wish to exercise your privacy rights, please contact us at: ladiesbrunchsociety@gmail.com
We will respond to privacy requests within the timeframes required by law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
